Strange PS3 email

Just got an email from

'DoNotReply@ac.playstation.net' telling me that my email address had signed up for an account. None of the details except the email address belong to me.

I investigated a little and it seems like a legitimate site for Sony playstation help.

The email said amongst loads of other info that I should get in touch with

'http://eu.playstation.com/help-support.' if I did not sign-up for an account.

I typed the website in rather than just hitting the link and again its seems to be legitimate.

Is this a con of some sort..?

Almost certainly a scam and a phishing attempt. Delete.
