I use Mozbakup for Firefox and Thunderbird. Thunderbird is no problem but I cannot backup my Firefox status. I get an error message..Cannot open file: C:\Users\myname\App Data\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\wbt1wjsu.default\signons.sqlite. Access is denied. Can anyone help out with this ?

Anyone ? I have looked at the directories concerned and the file is there with full permissions and is not Read only.

Is it possible that another application is blocking it? It's possible that something personal in your profile is being protected by your security app.

You could try it with all other applications shut down.
