Hi all, i need to know if my cpu is 64 bit or not.

I am currently running windows 7 pro 32 bit but would like to upgrade to 64 bit if possible.

My cpu is an intel celeron 430, code name = conroe-L - socket = 775 LGA - 1.8 GHz

Is the above capable of 64 bit? I havent had much luck in a google search.

Thanks

According to the Intel website, your CPU is a 64-bit processor - you'll see it mentioned under the specifications for "Instruction Set" and "Intel® 64".

If you're thinking of W7 64 bit then suggest you run W7 Upgrade Advisor
