My pc shut down unexpectedly this morning and I got this error report
Problem signature: Problem Event Name: BlueScreen OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.768.3 Locale ID: 2057
Additional information about the problem: BCCode: be BCP1: 8BC01000 BCP2: 00BF8121 BCP3: 8E1138EC BCP4: 0000000A OS Version: 617601 Service Pack: 1_0 Product: 768_1
Files that help describe the problem: C:\Windows\Minidump\012512-33914-01.dmp C:\Users\Sarah\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-52931-0.sysdata.xml
Any ideas on what caused this? My husband said it shut down when he turned the printer on but we don't seem to have any problems with the printer.
Thanks

Have you been able to restart it? Windows does this kind of thing very occasionally - an internal error occurs, and it shuts down, but the error is usually only transitory. If the error recurs, or if you can't restart your system, that's when it becomes concerning.

Have you added or removed any programs, other items, or done a maintenance check and repair recently?.

Hi
Yes I managed to restart it but it did a similar thing showing the blue screen a couple of months ago so was a bit worried something might be wrong.
All seems fine now. I haven't added any new programs recently and regularly do my pc maintenance.
hopefully its just a harmless internal error.
Thanks
