Slow response on pc

My pc suddenly slowed down considerably in the last few days. I have noticed that the 'McAfee On-Access Scanner service' program taking up lot of cpu up to 90% .

Contacted Mcafee help desk twice. First time the guy on chat-help told me to Uncheck the ' Turn on Netguard' option and restart the pc. But that did not solve the peoblem.

Next time the another help guy told me to give him remote access to re-install the McAfee software but i did not agree.

The problem is still exist & I would appreciate any help from you.

re-install the McAfee software yourself and retry.

I have reinstalled it & is not taking up more cpu as before since re-installion three days ago.
