Contacts cannot hear me on skype

I am running window 7 Ultimate. I can hear and see my contacts on skype and they can see me but not hear me. The wizard says there is nothing wrong with my microphone which is built in to my l0gitech quickcam E3500 camera. It was working fine before I was asked if I wanted to transfer certain defaults to Quick Time Player. ( can't remembger exactly) Don't know if this has anything to do with it. Echo sound testing does not give me any sound and when I go into tools it all seems to be set up ok. Any ideas?

Have uninstalled and re installed skype and the problem is now solved. Cheers.
