Hello,

I am using windows XPPro, my friend has an iPad, how can we transfer a few pictures from my PC to his ipad?

Transferring pictures to an iPad is done through iTunes. The problem that you will find is that if he connects to your PC it may cause complications with his iPad set up and also registering your iTunes for him. The best answer is to transfer by memory stick to his pc and then on to the iPad.
