The camera installed in the laptop does work fine, such as in the msn video calls. However when I click the 'video web camera' icon to take photos, the page doesn't pop up. It used to pop up so that I can take photos or record a video. There was an update of 'video web camera' so I have clicked update, then it suddenly stopped popping up when I click the icon. I have system restored back to date of before the update. The cammera is operating, as I can see msn video works, its just when I need to use it as a camera, I click the icon and it does not work. I click the icon and nothing pops up. What can I do?
