Unexpected error

Yesterday my W7 PC suddenly stopped at the Blue Screen of Death with "Hardware error, contact your support provider" or something similar. No errors were found on the HDD by chkdsk so can I find more information on the cause anywhere?

Thanks buteman but it isn't obviously pointing me to any particular piece of hardware.

Maybe try this and see if it opens.C:\Windows\Minidump or try sfc /scannow in command prompt.

Or maybe try this .
