Hello all
I have just installed Windows 7 on a new computer and somehow finished up with a boot screen offering me the choice of two Windows 7. Could anyone advise on how to remove this screen please.
Many thanks

Russ, When you're presented with the two Windows 7 choices, what do you do? If you do nothing and wait for the timer to reach zero, or you hit Enter on the keyboard to OK the currently selected choice, you can safely disable that pesky screen by doing the following:
Go to Control Panel -> System. In the left-hand pane click on "Advanced System Settings" -> Startup & Recovery "Settings" button. Remove the tick from "Time to display list of operating systems".
If the version of Windows that's automatically selected for you at that boot screen is not the one you want then you'll additionally need to change the "Default Operating System" to the other one in the list.
If for whatever reason you need to see that boot screen again then immediately start tapping the F8 key quickly after turning on your PC.
