is it possible to actualy uninstall internet explorer in win 7

Why uninstall it ? You do not have to use it. There are alternative browsers such as Firefox and Google Chrome.

Add remove.Turn Windows features off or on.Untick I/E9 then press Ok.it will take a few minutes then you will have to reboot.

Now if you previously had I/E8 installed it will go back to that.So maybe not what you are looking for.
