Can i read downloaded Kindle books without wifi

Going abroad shortly for holiday where no wifi is available. Can I read books I have already downloaded ???

You don't even need wifi to load books as you can download to your PC and transfer to the Kindle using the usb cable.

Put as many books as you like onto the kindle, I took half a dozen on my last holiday, just make sure its fully charged before you go and switch off the wifi to save power ad it should last a month.
