Winpatrol free. Update

Tried to update my WinPatrol 24.0.2012 (Free & PLUS), but my AVG detected a virus. I have uninstalled Winpatrol, but I want to download the (free) updated version of it. Has anyone used this program, and if so, have you updated it without any problems? I have found it to be a very useful tool. geedad

Pro version updated Ok.

Maybe best removing the old version before downloading the new version.

No reaction from any of my Security programs.

buteman Did as you advised. Now, on trying to open WinPatrol I am getting the following message: "May be infected with unknown virus"

WIN32/DH.FF930004{0888000-00000000-100000000}

Then I get the options to quarantine, remove etc

So, I can't run WP properly.

I have sent an attachment to WP website, but I needed some faster help!

Try downloading the WP setup file from here - link provided direct from BillP studios. If still in trouble then the best address to email is support@winpatrol.com and Bill usually answers fairly quickly (be mindful of the time difference between the UK and USA)
