just bought a couple of "tomb raider PC CD ROMs by NOW."

Do I need anything special to play on my PC ?

Have tried loading simply by inserting CD but did not load

No you do not need anything special to play the games, if they are not auto-playing: double click My Computer then double click the CD drive with the game in that should start the installation of the game.
