How can a PPS file be transferred to a DVD

I have Windows XP and have tried to copy a PPS file to a DVD Hope you can advise

It may help if you explain why you want to put it on a dvd and where it will be viewed. A pps file is a data file and most, if not all, dvd writing programs will put data on a dvd. To view it the PowerPoint viewer would be required.
