Old style Portable PC

I've managed to acquire a hp iPaq palm style PC from work - try as I might I can't get it to connect to the internet.

It says its connected to my home network, but it can't 'find' any websites - also it says the bluetooth is on, but my phone can't find it

Thats a link to a picture of the item - I know its yesterdays technology - I just wanted a bit of a play around with it.

Can anyone help??

Do you have a broadband connection, as I am guessing that this device was only suitable for dial up connection.

Incidently, to see the picture you need a flickr account (need to sign in)

I've got a broadband connection, but the device originally was used to connect wirelessly to portable bingo units at the club I work at. It was used to put money on to them. Wouldn't that be the same kind of thing as wifi network as I have at home??

Go back to work and get one of the Bingo units too

At a guess,I would say that the 2 devices were matched (send and recieve) and normal wifi will not work as is it (probably) the wrong channel settings - Think about radio frequencies.
