Graphics is built-in.

My CQ61 came with W7 and DirectX 11.

Have you downgraded to XP? Want to run DX9 for another reason?

I got the laptop a few years ago and have left it standard but I am not sure of it's specs as I got rid of the box.

It has Windows Vista basic built in. do you know if it has DirectX 9 built in then or if it is compatible?

I think I have found out which one it is. It is the Presario CQ61 120-SA. I can't seem to find what the specs are for it though.

Anyone help?

Never mind about the specs.

Will a Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD be DirextX 9.0 compatible?

Download System Information for Windows

Your DirectX details in Software/Applications.

I was not aware the CQ61 graphics were upgradeable. But I have an AMD CQ61.

That chip says it's DirectX 10 capable

I don't know anything about it, just that you can upgrade certain stuff!! If I was to ever upgrade my PC/laptop then I would take it to a mate or a shop! :L
