Gmail slow to open

XP Home SP3 FF8. For the last 2 weeks my gmail site is taking about 20 secs to load. Not a major problem I know, but it used to be about 2 secs. Anyone else got this delay? Thanks.

Just tried mine (have gmail account for trying stuff but not normally used) and it took around 7 or 8 seconds from clicking Gmail on Google homepage. Subsequent closing and opening of Gmail then takes around 3 seconds.

Reverted to normal speed today for some reason.
