External Hard drive

Which is a good external hard drive? It will be a Christmas present. I am using a Pc which has Winows 7 32 bit and a Seagare 750GB hard drive. Shoukld I stick to Seagate or can I use another make and model? Any advice much appreciated.

You seem happy with a Seagate disk then stay with them. I have, Verbatim 1tb, Seagate 120gb, Freecom 400gb and 160gb external drives, each is performing as good as the other. The only reason for buying different brands, each was on offer at a time when needed and the size was right for purpose.
