WORD to CD hyperlink

I've created a document in Word with hyperlinks to other files.

I want to copy it to a CD - and have the hyperlinks work.

However the hyperlinks give the path as C:/

Will they work on a CD if I copy over the referenced files?

If not - how can I do this: read a document on a CD with hyperlinks to other files on the CD?

As the letter of the Cd drive may be different on some of the computers the CD is used on the drive letter for the hyperlink may be invalid therefore -

\ indicates root directory of drive of the currently open file ... indicates parent directory of the currently open file .. indicates current directory of the currently open file

Start your hyperlink path with one of those, instead of the drive letter.
