I have just been trying to make a duplicate of a DVD for backup and Ashampoo tells me I need to use a DVD+ or DVD- Dual Layer type DVD.

I have just looked on Amazon to find for say 10 pack of Verbitim brand they are £8 - £12 and all seem to be x8 speed. Are the 8 Speed DVD Dual Layer disks the maximum. why are DVD Wtrs upto x24 speed.

Think I need a lesson please
