Interesting that because it is 'porn' they are investigating?

How about the authorities get off their arses to investigate the 'Microsoft' Your Computer has a Virus type scams which do claim lots of victims (often pensioners)

More likely to be because the scam popup is claiming to be from Scottish police and not because it is porn. Microsoft (worldwide not just UK) do warn about not falling for the other scam that you mention ClickHere and the Telegraph had a news item about it in the UK earlier in year.
