I bought a new copy of WIN7 PRO and a SAMSUNG 1TB SATA HDD to replace a TOSHIBA 500GB HDD. I have 2 SATA HDD in my
laptop. I had installed an OEM copy of WIN 7 home Premium 32 bit.
I wanted to install the copy of WIN 7 PRO 64 bit in the SAMSUNG HDD, but got a mesage on screen telling me that I was running 32 bit.
I formatted the HDD and installed the 32 bit. My question is: Can I make a clean installation of WIN 7 Pro 64 bit when running Win 7 32 bit? and
What is the best way to transfer all my data from the old HDD to the new HDD?

What exactly do you want to transfer?
Photos, documents etc. can just be copied over programs will have to be reinstalled.

Only the fact that it will access more than 3.5G memory
