outlook express and apple support

Hi,

I uninstalled itunes because I now use the icloud to backup and restore my iphone and ipad2. I have just tried to access outlook express to view my email,when a windows pops up called apple app support missing. It asks me to install itunes and mobile me control panel.

Do I need to reinstall outlook or is there a way around that does not require itunes ?

Apple Application Support was not found.

Apple Application Support is required to run iTunes. Please uninstall iTunes, then re-install iTunes again.

You may have to use something like Revo Uninstaller to make sure that there are no left-over files when uninstalling iTunes before re-installing it.
