Word 2007 seems to have broken, doesn't respond to saving work!

Until last night I had no probs with word but now it crashes every time i try to ave a piece of working,if anybody could offer advice I would be very grateful! thanks!

Use your original disk and "Repair Office" you may have to update afterwards.

I would run Microsoft Office Diagnostics before the repair. You can access MS Office Diagnostics through Word - and Word Options and Resources but it is probably quicker to go to All Programs - Microsoft Office - Microsoft Tools and click on Microsoft Office Diagnostics.

I have run the diagnostic tool, it has "repaired" but made no difference! I have the next Office 2010 to install but it is hanging after it has apparently fully loaded :( thanks for your replies !

Did you uninstall before installing? If effectively you upgraded then you may have installed on a corrupt installation. You may have to totally uninstall and reinstall. Have you done any virus/malware checks?
