How can I record an audio broadcast on the Internet?

Greetings:
My wife loves to listen to internet radio and especially talk/chat shows. However, one program comes on too late for her to listen to it. It comes on at 1:30 AM. However, is there any way for us to record this live, streaming broadcast onto our desktop so that we can listen to the broadcast later? Any advice given on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
