How do i delete the other in itunes?

Hi when i plug my iphone into itunes there is a section at the bottom called other and is in yellow, The problem is this other section is nearly a gig in size and i dont know what it is, how do i delete it or cant it be deleted? what exactly is this other section in itunes? Thanks.
