When I now log on to go onto web sites, I get a small window headed "Mozilla Corporation-User Account Control" I have to click one of two buttons at the botom before I can proceed any further. Is there any way of stopping this box appearing each time? I am using Windows 7 32 bit. No other problems with the operatioon of the computer.

If it's only happening in FireFox then try opening it as administrator, right click the icon and select run as administrator.

rdave13, Have tried to do that but it still appears. I have tried to follow your instructions but cannot find anything which says administrator. I am the only person to use this computer.

Are you running the newest version of Firefox and have you checked for add on updates.

Quite a few folk with the same problem but cannot find the fix yet.
