Hard Drive

I have just taken my PC to my local dealer for a service and cleanup.It was running slow and although it is a bit faster now they say the only way now to speed it up is to fit a 500gb sata hard drive.But they say that due to the flooding in Thailand stocks are limited and the prices have more than doubled.Can someone advise as to where it is possible get one.

Yes it is true, unfortunately the prices are likely to remain high for the next couple of years. That is not to say that you can still find reasonably priced hard-drives. Have a look here: Google
