I have bought a new unit for my TV/Sky box and the above PVR. I an sure I have replaced the cables correctly but the PVR will not function properly, I can turn it on and off and change from HDD to DVD but nothing else works. Has it decided to pack up? I have had it for 4 or 5 years.

how have you got it connected to the Sky input?

Hello Fruit Bat /\0/\ Sorry I couldn't reply yesteday, it is connected in the chain - cable from dish to Sky box/scarts from Sky box to TV and PVR, I am sure it is exactly the same as before when it worked perfectly. I am going to open it up to see if any connections have worked loose.
