Hi I have downloaded 'Easy duplicate finder' which i believe will find duplicate file names, is there any way to search for duplicate text within files?

i.e. i have some text which i know to be in more than one word document, but i dont know how many, i want to be able to identify the files and delete some.

thanks

On a basic level you can use Windows Search it may suffice for your needs.

All or part of the file name: *.doc

A word or phrase in the file: whatever phrase you want here

Look in: choose where to look (click on down arrow and at the bottom entry click on 'browse')
