Ongoing problems persuading Xeron DocuPrint P8ex to print on 64 bit Windows 7

Can a FujiXeron DocuPrint 187A (PCL6) printer driver on a 64 bit Windows 7 laptop enable printing to a Xeron DocuPrint P8ex printer?

I downloaded the the driver from:

http://www.fujixerox.co.jp/download/docuprint/download/187a/prt_vst64e/

and I have read elsewhere that the P8ex should work with any PCL6 driver, but I don't know how to 'connect' one to the other.

Can anyone help please?

Thanks.
