hi all bought a microsoft reclusa keyboard at charity shop, when i press shift and 2 i get the apostropy sign instead of the at sign for emails, if i press shift and apostropy i get the at sign, i have checked that keyboard language is set to english, anyone any idea what could be wrong

That is the correct UK language action when you press those two keys, if you want the @ sign you will need to change the language to USA English.
