I have just bought my wife a KINDLE which has WiFi, when i switched it on to charge it and make the WiFi connection it asked me for my wireless password??? is this the password I use to connect to talktalk or one of the numbers on the back of the router? We don't use the wireless connection because we had a lot of trouble with it so I ran a cable down to our laptop downstairs from the router. Its her birthday tommorrow and i don't want her dissapointed. Can she use the KNDLE with the usb connection instead.

I should also mention that apparently you can't alter the clock on Kindle it won't show up in the menu until you have got connected wirelessly..... (I found that to be very strange)

I would just like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who responded to my questions. Its fantastic so many people are ready to help others with all the technical mystery of computers and the internet, long may you Reign. We have finally discovered why none of the numbers we entered didn't work, for some reason the number on the router was different to the on on our internet settings, probably changed when Tiscali was taken over by TT. All up and working so far, my wife will spend some time getting used to the Kindle and making some mistakes but she will get there in the end, thanks once again.
