Outlook email not opening

Hi When I try to open my out look email. I get a box the top question says server.. pop.mail.yahoo.com is this the reason it will not open? I dont use it very much

Which version of Outlook or is it Outlook Express? Are the e-mails being downloaded? Check your account settings.
