Software KVM Solution

We have 2 workstations and another 4 PCs. We need each workstation to have independant control of their own workstation plus KVM control of the 4 PCs (Really just keyboard and mouse operation only as there is fixed video displays).

We have looked at Input Director and similar but the issue seems to be with having two workstations providing this.

Prefereably we need a automatic selection using mouse control or serial data to device.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
