How do i transfer individual programmes from my desktop PC to my laptop regards derek

You can't. You have to install them from scratch.

The reason you can't transfer them is because when a program is installed it makes entries and changes to the registry.

I've been thinking about this since a kind forum member posted this link, moblietod .

Haven't played with it but wondering if you create a new partition on the laptop then run this program on the desktop and select a flash drive as destination. Copy info from pen drive to the new partition on the laptop?

Just a thought.
