I cannot download. I get a message This file does not have a program associated with it. I went to start-Default progra control panel and it said, choose an extension.

At this stage I have run out of knowledge, Please can anyone tell me how to get a download. I have winzip and jzip

Should have added it is for XP or Vista if you use W/7 I believe it is another version.

I believe Windows Installer 5.0 is a part of Windows 7

Is this with all downloads or one specific download? It may help if you tell us what you are trying to download.
