Fowarding images.

As usual I forward a selection of funnies that I receive to others.
Some of them contain images[jpegs] in the body, not as attachments.
Occasionally I receive a response from one of the recipients saying 'no images' Whilst others get the complete item. Pondering why this should be it seems that those that use an E-mail client [Thunderbird or Outlook etc.] get the full item- whilst those that use web mail, only get the text parts of the message.
Yet I am on web mail and I get the images.
Even stranger when one wrote back using 'reply' the original message was there complete with images.
Copying images only, to paste into a new message does not seem to work .
Any thoughts>

The recipient must set up their email program (or webmail page) to receive messages in HTML format

The email settings might have blocked malicious images or texts in the mail.

Thanks both- He having used the reply facility to respond to me - it included the images - I also used the reply to mentionsthat the images managed to come back to me in his mail - he has now said that mail contained nine identical images- He is in Paris - so I blame the French.
