windows 7 bitlocker problems

so i had a windows 7 ultimate laptop and i used bitlocker to encrypt my sony 8gb flash drive. but since my laptop died a few weeks ago, i now have a new laptop with windows 7 home premium. now when i insert my flash drive it gives me the option to unlock my drive but i cant automatically unlock it on my current laptop (which is want i want) and i cant change any settings either.

BitLocker is only available in the Windows 7 Ultimate and Enterprise editions enter link description here so it isn't looking good for you.

There is a Bitlocker Repair Tool but I have my doubts as to whether it would work in your case enter link description here
