Hi,

I need a driver for the above laptop, its the driver for the " video controller " ( VGA compatible ) when i look in devie manager it comes up with a yellow exclamation mark ?

can you not right click it in device manager and update driver?

I have no original drivers or discs for the machine, and packard bell dont list it on their site, this was a total revovery :(

If you've removed Vista and gone back to XP then you'll need to run Bellarc or SIW to identify your VGA chip. Once done look at the SIS page for your driver for XP.
