virus problem with hotmail

can any one help me, re my hotmail. I think I may have a virus, have norton, it states my computer is secure, i have done full scans. Unfortunately when I open my inbox of my hotmail, I have lots of returned emails, delivery status notification - failure. Strange because I have not sent any emails. the emails look as they are from postmaster@hotmail. Please help, not sure what to do now.

thanks for the above, unfortunately just scanned with above, found nothing, and got more of the e mails.

First thing I'd do is change your password to a strong one. Guide to create strong passwords
