Hi, my OS is Windows Vista home premium 32 bit. When I run crucial scanner it says my max ram is 2GB. I want to upgrade. If I get the Vista 64 bit OS will I be able to upgrade to 4GB Ram?
PC is Pavilion Slimline s3220.uk

Crucial says:
HP - Compaq Pavilion Slimline s3220.uk Desktop/PC "Memory Type: DDR2 PC2-5300, DDR2 PC2-6400, DDR2 (non-ECC) Maximum Memory: 2GB Slots: 2 Each memory slot can hold DDR2 PC2-5300, DDR2 PC2-6400 with a maximum of 1GB per slot."
And HP says:
According to ClickHere to see your motherboard, you have 2 slots and each slot will only take 1Gb and so the total maximum is 2Gb.
So no, sorry, you can't upgrade to 4GB Ram no matter what Op Sys you use, 2Gb total is your max.
