internet problems

Afternoon all. Can somebody help me with an error i am getting. Element not found. httpErrorPageScript.js line:264 code:0 char5 URI:res://IEframe.dll/httperrorpagesscripts.js. got this from clicking on diagnose system problems button. Not able top access sky email, and some other sites. Tried reset os IE. No good. Prblem started today, no changes were made before this. Win XP:SP3, IE8. Please help. Thank You

i appreciate all the advice given. i have done a system restore, this seemed to have solved the issue. thank you very much. help was appreciated.
