One possible solution might be to connect a Cable/DSL Router (which doesn't incorporate a modem) to one of the Hub's LAN ethernet ports and connect wirelessly to that instead of directly to the Hub.

The same could be achieved by plugging a separate Wireless Access Point into the Hub, but stand-alone Wireless Access Points tend to be as expensive, if not more so, than a wireless Cable/DSL router which, of course, incorporates a Wireless Access Point.

"the Hub/Phone point are in the kitchen so cannot connect ether wire"

Why not? The Cable/DSL Router or Wireless Access Point would be located beside the Hub, with devices connecting to it "wirelessly".
