hotmail issue cant reply, send, or forward

i have had this issue for some days which makes hotmail unusable in that i cant reply to or forward or send any mail, when i attempt either function all that happpens is a "bad request" comes up have run AVG and malware bytes with no improvement, mail to windows is pending a reply, XP pro IE8 etc. any ideas please?

How are you accessing your hotmail? Through webmail or e-mail client?

i access it from pc link, have tried link on msn no difference but thank you for asking

Are you using http or https for hotmail? Try https.

I guess that this may be a cookie or browser cache problem. Suggest you empty your temp files and selectively delete the hotmail cookie MSN help

the problem was fixed by microsoft although allegedly they dont discuss problems even though it was their fault.which also applies to my original facebook problem.
