Projected images too red & too dark

I have been trying to calibrate a Canon SX80 digital projector using a Spyder 3 Elite calibrator. After calibration the images were very red especially in dark shadow areas and in areas already containing reds. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Spyder but the problem persists. I have tried the projector on another computer and it was fine which leads me to think that there may be a problem with the graphics card, NVidia GForce 9400Gt, has anyone experienced similar problems or know of a possible cause. I'm using XP SP3
