surge protectors

Hi,

I have just moved my PC and now my surge protector will not reach the wall socket. The surge protector is powering for devices, there are sockets for eight.

This surge is plugged into another surge protector which has four sockets, and only one in permanent use. Is it safe to plug one surge into another,or could I just buy a single socket extension, and connect to the main surge and then plug into the wall?,also will the surge function still work?

Thanks

One surge protector plugged into another could mean that when one blows the other might at the same time but it would work.

or could I just buy a single socket extension, and connect to the main surge and then plug into the wall?

that would be better and yes it will work
