wireless just stopped working

please can you help,my grandaughters wireless connection was working but just stopped,I am using the same router to send this as I am at her house using my older laptop,her laptop is about 6 months old and is a acer aspire 5750 from a desperate grandad.

Had she tried right clicking the icon on the Taskbar and tried repair or troubleshoot.

She has not switched it of by mistake on the laptop and does it still show other wireless signals.

To help others what ISP does she use.

I do not know much about laptops but with NTL switching the Modem off and the Router off for a minute and then starting the modem and a minute later starting the router helps with my grand daughter signal.

Just trying to fill in till someone can help with your problem.
