Looking to do my first decent pc build. Would be really grateful if someone could take a look and check everything is compatible, or maybe even make suggestions on better hardware for the same budget.

That would do very nicely for me. Looks like you have already done your homework. Plenty of WOOMF ! Only thing I would suggest is that you query the HDD cache with Overclockers on the Western Digital that you intend to order - the heading says 16MB Cache but in the description it says 32MB

Have you considered shopping around for the cheapest prides of these components online? I don't want to say which companies but I could think of at least one other place you can buy these components and save yourself a bit of money. Don't put all yours eggs in one basket.

The build is fine, if you want to save some more money, get the 1024mb version of that GPU, the extra 1gb might sound great, but that extra frame buffer will rarely come in handy and won't benefit in everyday gaming. Definitely rethink if your using anything under a 1920x1080/1920x1200 resolution.

Oh and also, of course, make sure to use a x64 bit OS. Otherwise that extra 1gb extra will eat into your 4gb of physical address space even more than normal.
